Summer work!
I've gotten two small commissions this summer and I am really excited about them!
Exclamation Points!!!
The first was a banner project for my cousin-in-law Tara, for her website Organized SAHM (stay at home Mom). Very glad to have worked with her, it was a different kind of challenge for me. I would not consider myself a graphic designer, but I'd like to be one too!
You can visit her site here! (might be under construction still)
The second was an anniversary project that my best friend's Dad had me do! I had a very interesting picture to work from, low light, backlit, on the beach, on their wedding day! Real cool.
Happy Anniversary Cantwells!

Animation Updates! Projects!
I am such a liar, I never follow through on my promises to update!
These are all the larger projects that we had during the second semester of this year
(only a month late hah!)
THE DEFINITIVE SOPHOMORE SIT STAND!
Biggest project I've had yet! I made this little baby from scratch and sheesh, it feels like a little person.

Two just cause I'm sad my colors are weird. I cheated a little in vimeo enhancers to get it closer...
Here's premiere's version.

Starting with an animation exercise, I was given the rig Artie.
Finger point, walk, walk in/out, turn/take.

An exercise where I did the layout, lighting and texturing.

Realizing how hard it is to maintain the integrity of colors from your renders, program to program. :(
Here's a basic still from a lighting/texturing project!
I really like texturing food.
But summer's going well. Overall, life is gud!

Speed Paints/Last 'Journals'/Dump!
Sure feels good to be on summer vacation! I closed up my final projects at school and I will be posting them during this week. Here are the last journals that I ended up doing for my Lit Media class. We had to do some entries for our coursework and I made mine into drawings/paintings. I'd like to revisit some of these to polish so I hope I get to that soon!
I recommend making small projects into bigger ones and having fun if at all possible!
These were quick and dirty but felt fresh.
"Gate Keeper" Speed Paint approx. 1.5 hours?
"Melted Ice" Speed work probably 1.5-2 hours?
My strange 'scratching' I like to do over my photoshop sketches.
Stay Tuned!
Here's some (really rough) process work I used for the projects I will post soon!

Sketch Update
Man oh man, I have been abusing my blog lately.
For this project I decided I wanted to make a Liberal Arts assignment into something "cool." So of course I drew a selfie and stayed up way too late in preparation the night before.... and missed the class to turn it in. Things like this have been happening lately DOH.
**ALSO I HAVE ANIMATION AND FUN THINGS TO POST:
Haven't coz I'm not on top of my game, but only a
month left of school when I can dumpity dump!
Kind of a fun little guy, I'd love to polish it off.... one day.

Logo Sketchy
Well I get a text from my lovely cousin today asking if I could do a logo for him, for a fake company in his class. So of course I said yes! I wanted it to be cutesy and flowy but Type is hard, and linework is hard so I settled. Fun little idea to work through, thanks cousin!
Cup O' Joe's Coffee
I need to get my design groove on some more, logo's are hard!
NEW STUFF SOON (**stuff I've already finished and haven't posted yet...) I PROMISE
